Yeah, I know, usually the “As Seen on TV” products are very gimmicky and don’t last or function as advertised.  This product, is the exception!

My mother turned me onto this chop box several years ago.  So I purchased it and never regretted it since.

Those of us that make our own meals know that the preparation of all the ingredients is what takes a lot time in most recipes.  This device will save you a bunch of time chapping/dicing all those vegetables – onions/carrots/celery/potatoes/tomatoes (yes, the blades are that sharp to dice most tomatoes).  The clear container has measurement markers on the side for easy viewing how much you have chopped.

There are two blades (chop and dice) so you can cut the veggies to the size you desire.  I use the chop blade (larger holes) when I cut up veggies for soups and chopped onions for tacos.  The dice blade is great for dicing carrots and onions for fried rice.
Also included is a cleaning rake, to aid in cleaning the lid.  Food will get stuck in the slots in the lid while chopping.  This rake makes it easy to get that good out.  Everything is dishwasher safe.

Over the last 3 years I use my Vidalia Chop Wizard at least 1-2 times a week.  It was never failed and never broke.  There are times when I try to chop too thick of carrots/potatoes (hard root veggies) and I cannot press down on the lid to get them chopped.  I have learned to slice the veggies a little thinner and put less of them on the blades if they are hard root veggies.
